Everything you’d ask, answered.
How HitCTRL works, what it costs and how to start, without waiting for anyone. Search, or pick a topic.
Getting started
It runs your partner program. It counts every visit a partner sends (a hit), credits the sales that follow to the right partner, works out what they earn and helps you pay them. Partners get their own portal under your brand.
Yes. A partner program and an affiliate program are the same thing: HitCTRL tracks your affiliates’ clicks and sales, works out their commissions and handles their payouts. In HitCTRL, affiliates are called partners.
Press Start free trial and enter your company, your email and an address for your workspace. It opens at once with a 14-day Growth trial, and the setup card on Home walks you through the rest.
No. Everything from sign-up to payment is in the app, and each step has a check that tells you it worked. Only Enterprise, for more than 50 million hits a month, is agreed with sales.
13: English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Russian, Ukrainian, Polish, Japanese, Chinese and Korean. The workspace sets the default and each person can pick their own.
Tracking
A visit through a partner’s link or whitelabel site. HitCTRL signs it, so a sale that comes later still finds the partner who sent it. Bots are not counted, and a visitor coming back through the same link in the same hour counts once.
Add one script line to your pages, and report each sale from your server with the hit the script kept. Your keys and the code for curl, Node, PHP and Python are in Settings › Developers.
Yes. Your server reports each sale with its hit, and partners can set postbacks that send each conversion to their own tracker, filled with the payout, the status and their own sub IDs.
Yes. Your server can send hits as well as sales, with your secret integration key, so nothing depends on the visitor’s browser.
Send a test sale from Settings › Developers. The setup card ticks when your first hit and first sale arrive, and a sale that cannot be recorded shows in the error log with the reason.
Yes. Give a partner a coupon, and sales with that code are credited to them even without a click on their link.
Partners and payouts
Through your own sign-up page in your brand, with the questions you choose; you approve them. You can also add or invite partners yourself.
Their own portal: links with their sub IDs, their hits, sales and balance live, reports and every payment, in their language and currency.
A fixed amount, a percentage of the sale, or a lifetime share of what a customer brings, set per offer, tier, country or partner, plus bonuses.
HitCTRL keeps each balance in a ledger nobody can rewrite, checks who is ready to be paid, and lets you pay one partner or everyone ready. You send the money by the method each partner chose; HitCTRL keeps the record and the invoices.
Bots never earn, repeat visits are folded, and your fraud rules flag suspicious sales for review before anyone is paid.
Your best partners can run their own branded site that sells your offer (a whitelabel), or a whole program of their own partners (a network). Every sale still counts in your account first. Both come with Growth and up.
Plans and billing
No. The 14-day Growth trial needs only an email. One trial per account owner.
Choose a plan and add a card before day 14. If you don’t, tracking pauses until you do, and nothing is charged.
Hits and conversions. Partners, team members, offers and test conversions are never counted.
You choose in Billing: pay as you go for each started 1,000 hits or conversions, with a monthly spending cap if you want one, or stop counting at the plan’s limit. We email you at 80% and 100%.
Yes, yourself, in Billing. Moving up starts at once; moving down or cancelling takes effect on the 1st of next month.
By card, through Stripe, monthly or yearly with two months free. A USD invoice with tax arrives every month, and every invoice can be downloaded in Billing.
No. Their hits and conversions count towards your plan.
No. You pay your partners yourself; our bill is only for using HitCTRL.
Security and your data
Yes. Every workspace is walled off twice: in the app and in the database itself.
Two-factor sign-in is required for owners and admins. You can see every session and end it, and a security log records sign-ins, two-factor and password changes.
Yes. You can export or anonymise a person on request, payout details are encrypted, and files open only through links that expire.
Yes, any time: export partners, conversions, settlements and reports as CSV files.
Moving to HitCTRL
Yes. Import your partners from a CSV file, then run both side by side until the numbers match.
Partners get new HitCTRL links in their portal. Keep your old platform running while they switch, so no sale is lost.
The wiki explains every screen, and Report a problem is on every page of the app.
